Angelique Brunner, President

Ms. Brunner is a recognized financial professional in the EB5 industry. She is responsible for sourcing and structuring all projects for EB5 Capital. Past EB5 projects include the Marriott Convention Center hotels and City Market at O Street in Washington, D.C., as well as the Sugarbush Ski Resort in Vermont. Ms. Brunner’s professional responsibilities include appointed positions on the Legislative Committee and the Best Practices Committee for IIUSA, which is the national EB-5 trade and lobbying organization.

Before her entry into the EB5 industry, Ms. Brunner was with Fannie Mae, where she was responsible for over $350 million of new equity commitments. Before focusing on real estate, she was a Vice President with Core Capital Partners, a venture capital firm focused on early stage and growth investments. In addition to her private sector investment experience, Ms. Brunner has worked in government advisory and service. Ms. Brunner was a consultant with a financial advisory firm to the public sector where she placed $2 billion in public debt. Ms. Brunner also served as Finance Director for NCRC, where she assisted with the disposition of Washington DC’s multi-billion dollar land portfolio.

Ms. Brunner holds a Masters in Public Policy and a Certificate in Urban Planning from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and B.A. from Brown University. She is also a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and, in 1995, she was a charter member of the AmeriCorps. Ms. Brunner is a recognized speaker at hospitality, real estate, and EB-5 events throughout the country. She most recently spoke at the 2011 Lodging Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, and at the 2011 NABHOOD Summit in Miami, Florida. She has also been invited to present EB-5 policy to the Brookings Institute and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
