Affiliated Companies Capital Markets Advisory Partners Capital Markets Advisory Partners was founded by David Weild, former vice chairman and head of listed companies and related businesses at NASDAQ and head of equity capital markets and investment banking at Prudential Securities. His team works exclusively for issuers and has developed a number of unique, repeatable and proprietary processes to support issuers and their boards in equity capital raises by: • Delivering a larger and higher quality institutional order book by working in tandem with the underwriters for the benefit of the issuer. • Implementing transaction controls • Providing broadly actionable information to management and their investor relations firms to improve aftermarket performance. The principals bring a track record of having successfully executed over 1,000 IPOs, follow-on and convertible offerings at major Wall Street investment banks. Our thought-leadership work led us to see a gap in the market that Wall Street was not filling – deep transaction experience and issuer-aligned advisory services. As an independent, company-aligned advisor, we work exclusively for management and the board (not public investors, although we interact with institutional investors daily) to enable our clients to better engage and leverage the investment banking, research and distribution infrastructures available in the marketplace. We constantly evaluate the capabilities of firms and combinations of firms (manager groups) so that our clients can have the information necessary to make more informed decisions that will lead to better outcomes on the offering and well into the aftermarket. We bring an understanding of markets and market structures and their implications to issuers from the US to Toronto to London to China and work with venture-backed and private-equity backed issuers. We also help raise funds for select venture capital and private equity funds.
